We're Louise & Nicole (L&N) – two best friends with an unhealthy obsession with books, snacks, supporting women, and pretending we definitely don't need another bookshelf.
Spoiler alert... we absolutely do.
L&N Books and Banter was created because we believe incredible books deserve incredible readers, and indie authors deserve to be celebrated just as loudly as the biggest names in publishing. Every book we stock has been chosen because we've genuinely fallen in love with it (or immediately text each other saying, "THE GIRLS NEED TO READ THIS!").
If you're looking for a quiet, sensible bookstore... you've definitely taken a wrong turn.

Reading has always been our escape, our therapy and our favourite excuse to ignore adult responsibilities.
We created L&N because we wanted to build the kind of book community we'd always wanted to be part of.
